Malo’s biography
About Malo Bolliet
Malo Bolliet is a passionate 19-year-old driver from the Lyon region who devotes a large part of his life to motor sport. Currently a student at the EM Lyon business school, he has top-level sportsman status, enabling him to combine his studies with a career in motor sport.
Since making his karting debut in 2017, Malo has risen through the ranks thanks to some remarkable performances. He has won several titles, both regional and national, and finished vice-world champion in the X30 category in 2023.
In 2024, Malo took a new step forward by joining the KZ2 gearbox karting category, a crucial stage in his preparation for the transition to a car. The year also marked his first single-seater tests, including victory in Feed Racing, a competition created by former Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve and European Le Mans Series – ELMS (Endurance) champion Patrick Lemarie. This victory offers him a precious opportunity: a full season in Formula 4 France in 2025, where his aim will be to win the title.
Malo is being assisted in this transition by Soheil Ayari, a former professional driver who has run multiple tests in Formula 1 and participated in numerous 24 Hours of Le Mans races. Ayari, who is also a European GT Champion, provides Malo with technical expertise and invaluable advice on physical and mental preparation for the challenges of motor racing.
The journey is far from complete, but every challenge Malo overcomes brings him closer to his dream. With each new partner, the future shines even brighter—a shared adventure fueled by passion, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
My name is Malo Bolliet, I am 19 years old and currently studying at EM Lyon, a prestigious business school. Originally from the Lyon region, I have been passionate about motor sports since I was very young.
I have been practising karting for 5 years, as a hobby at the beginning, but I quickly moved on to competition. After many good results at regional level, I moved on to the national and international scene in my second year.
I dedicate my life to motorsport, spending more than half of the year on the circuits. I give 200% every day of my life, whether on or off the track, to turn this passion into my profession and become a single-seater, endurance, or GT driver. In 2024, I am making a transition to a new category in karting (KZ2 – shifter kart), which is much more physically demanding, and will also start testing in Formula 4 as part of my preparation for racing cars.
My ultimate goal is to become a professional driver, and I won’t give up until I achieve that dream.
For my transition to car racing, I am coached by Soheil Ayari, a highly respected driver and coach in the motorsport world. Soheil Ayari has conducted tests in Formula 1 and is a multiple-time champion in endurance and GT racing. He is accompanying and guiding me through my motorsport career, preparing me for the challenges ahead and helping me achieve my racing goals.
A shared adventure based on passion, hard work and the quest for performance.
There’s still a long way to go, but every challenge Malo takes on brings him a little closer to his dream.
